Welcome to Financial District

Every city has one, but San Francisco's Financial District is more colorful than most. Destroyed by the 1906 earthquake, it has been totally rebuilt and re-envisioned over the years. It's currently home to some of the tallest buildings in the city (including the once-controversial Transamerica Pyramid, which defines the San Francisco skyline), as well as corporate headquarters for such companies as Visa, Wells Fargo, Charles Schwab, and Gap, among others.
